Managing Director Andy Maclean approached us to raise awareness of his company’s services in the trade media.
Open Eye Marketing specialise in pay-per-click marketing, working in a variety of sectors, and wanted a targeted PR campaign to generate more business and augment the work they were doing to improve their own search engine rankings.
We placed a number of features, interviews and news stories in publications aimed at the hospitality and overseas property sectors.
This brought in contracts worth £3,000 – a 400% return on investment – and more than justified their outlay.

Banquet in a Box contacted us in September 2006 about promoting their gourmet catering service and increasing traffic to their website.
We formulated a strategy to secure radio coverage, using BBC local radio and commercial stations. This focussed on their Christmas in a Box service, which supplied fully-prepared Christmas lunches via their website.
In all we organised coverage on seven stations around the country, which increased traffic by 15-20% and brought in orders worth £2,500.
We have also placed articles in a number of local and business publications and organised reviews on consumer websites.
Dethleffs Owners Club (www.dethleffsowners.co.uk)
We produced one press release to help MD Richard Olphin promote his club, which was looking to attract more owners of Dethleffs caravans and motorhomes.
We created a quirky story on the search for the oldest Dethleffs model in use – they are a prestigious manufacturer which has longevity and reliability as major selling points – and distributed it to our contacts at consumer publications.
The story was featured in 11 of the 16 magazines we targeted, bringing in 90 new members (worth over £1300 in membership fees) and making the club one of the biggest in the country.
